In the last fifteen years increasing interest has emerged in Latin America around how innovative business and organizational models can be used to solve collective or public problems and what kind of leadership is necessary to implement these models. These new initiatives cross over the traditional boundaries between the nonprofit and for profit sectors and create new challenges for leaders and institutions. Wagner Visiting Scholar Gabriel Berger, professor at Universidad de San Andres in Argentina and director of its Center of Social Innovation, will share some of the learnings that emerged from research conducted within the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN) and from case studies in progress.
