This is part two of our two-part fall mentorship series. The WWC would like to provide an informal space where Wagner students can come together and learn from women leaders in our community. We are inviting Wagner alumni to join us for lunch and share their career advice and how their Wagner experience has got them to where they are today. Our second lunch will focus on strategic communications for women leaders.

Hannah Kates, Product Manager and Web Developer: Hannah Kates is a developer at NYC Planning Labs, a new team at the Dept of City Planning focused on modernizing government technology to better serve the public. Prior to this role, she worked on NYC Planning's Capital Planning team doing planning and process reform for siting City facilities and developing strategy for the City's real estate portfolio. Her background before pursuing her Master of Urban Planning at Wagner was in environment environmental engineering. She's passionate about developing tools and analytics that help cities operate more efficiently, sustainably, and equitably.

Emily Graham, Co-founder + CSO: Emily runs motivote’s external partnerships, communications, and marketing efforts. She is tired of decisions being made by a (mostly) monolithic group of politicians and believes in the power of young voters to change that. A Washington, D.C. native, Emily cut her teeth on K Street, where she ran communications strategy for some of the biggest names in progressive politics and global nonprofit organizations. Emily holds a M.P.A. in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment from NYU Wagner and a B.A. in History and Political Science from Bowdoin College.
