Jamiel is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service of NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He is a native New Yorker and the CEO of Override Labs, a boutique technology and strategy advisory group based in New York City. Jamiel has over 20 years of experience in management, finance, trading, technology and investments, working for companies like Bank of America / Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Oracle and GE and startups like LivePerson and Maven Realty NY, including being a CFO of a mechanical engineering firm prior to launching Override Labs. In addition, Jamiel actively teaches entrepreneurship, management, real estate and technology in various adjunct and guest speaker roles.

Jamiel holds an MBA from Columbia University, BBA from Baruch College and is completing his second Master's in Artificial Intelligence at Georgia Institute of Technology. Jamiel is a licensed real estate agent in New York and New Jersey under Douglas Elliman and has just authored real estate exam preparation guide. 

All public and not-for-profit organizations must assemble and report information on their performance. The need for performance measures goes beyond legal and regulatory requirements. To provide services effectively and efficiently, managers need information to make decisions. This course focuses on what performance measures are needed, how they should be created and what forms of communication are most effective.
