Juli Bark is a Senior Lecturer of Health Administration at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Carving out a pathway to accelerated growth in an increasingly more complex business environment is as challenging as it has ever been. And that’s why organizations such as Baxter, GE and Computershare turned to Juli for her marketing prowess and growth expertise. Over the last 20 years, she has shaped brands, built market-centric business strategies and driven high-performance marketing execution through executive-level marketing positions at large global companies to smaller, more entrepreneurial ventures.
Most recently, Juli was recruited to regenerative medicine company Bio-Tissue as their first head of marketing to create an in-depth business strategy and plan, launch new products and turn a failing e-commerce venture into a profitable one. Prior to her appointment at Bio-Tissue, Juli was recruited by GE to lead the marketing effort of a new technology venture as the organization’s first Chief Marketing Officer. During her tenure, she repositioned the company, established a 10-year product roadmap and expanded the company’s global footprint.
Prior to Bio-Tissue and GE/Omnyx Juli held the position of Chief Marketing Officer for Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, where she led the organization’s sales and marketing operation of 200 sales, marketing, and athletic training associates.
Juli also served as an Executive Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Development at Computershare, a global technology and financial services provider. Over the course of 10 years, she built an in-house marketing agency that developed innovative brand, strategic marketing, product development and integrated communications efforts within the North American market. She also played a significant leadership role in the company’s 25 acquisitions and their integration into the core business.
Juli holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana as well as an Associates Degree in Photography from the Harrington School of Design in Chicago. Aside from her professional career, Juli has also assisted two non-profit organizations expand their reach as a board member. She enjoys travel and is a self-proclaimed foodie.
