Timothy Ogden is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Urban Planning of NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He is also Managing Director of the Financial Access Initiative, a research center focused on financial services for low-income households housed at NYU-Wagner, and of the US Financial Diaries project; and a senior fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Financial Security Program. Tim writes and speaks frequently on topics of financial inclusion, financial services innovation, social investment and philanthropy. Ogden serves as a director of Sona Partners, a contributing editor of Alliance Magazine, vice-chairman of GiveWell and as president of the BBS Foundation. He has developed and edited more than 20 books, and is co-author of Toyota Under Fire. His most recent book is Experimental Conversations, a collection of interviews of leading economists on the use of randomized control trials in development economics and is currently working on Financial Inclusion: What Everyone Needs to Know.
