I have graduate credits from another program. Can I transfer them to the Online MHA?
This program does not accept transfer credits for coursework taken at other institutions or as part of other degree programs.
As an international student, can you provide me with authorization for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) so that I may work off-campus and be paid?
Wagner Student and Program Services can sign a CPT form.
Is the Online MHA program part-time or full-time?
The program is offered part-time only, 6 credits per semester. Weekly live classes are held in the evenings for 60-90 minutes. Students can expect to spend 3-4 hours in live classes each week.

What is admissions decision process for the Online MHA?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and decisions are made approximately two to three weeks after submission.
What are the Doctoral Program requirements?
Successful completion of the doctoral degree requires 72 academic course credits with a B+ or better average, completion and passing of the Preliminary Qualifying Examination, completion and passing of two comprehensive exams, a third year research paper, and a completed dissertation.
What if my transcript is not in English?
You are required to submit both the official transcript and its English translation. If the institution you attend/attended does not provide an English translation with the official transcript, you must obtain a certified English translation before submitting your application.

Where do I get my cap and gown?
Graduates and degree candidates participating in the ceremonies are required to wear academic attire. Graduates can wear the same cap and gown for both NYU Wagner Convocation and NYU Commencement. Academic attire can be rented from Herff Jones, Inc.

What if I want to do three semesters of paid, off-campus work and/or three paid, off-campus internships?
International students who wish to continue a paid, off-campus internship past two semesters or begin a third paid, off-campus internship must apply for Pre-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT).
