NYU Wagner Hosts Urban Issues Debate Between Bush and Kerry Campaigns

Debate kicks off celebration of Wagner's new home at the Puck Building; ribbon cutting with NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg to follow

Representatives of the Bush-Cheney and Kerry-Edwards campaigns will debate issues central to the urban agenda, including health care, gun control, and homeland security. Former Deputy Treasury Secretary Roger Altman will represent the Kerry campaign, while Bruce Blakeman, a commissioner of the Port Authority of NY/NJ, and the former majority leader of Nassau County Legislature, will represent the Bush campaign.
