She served as the 22nd Chair and Chief Executive
Officer of the New York City Housing Authority
(NYCHA). Appointed by Mayor de Blasio in 2014,
Shola developed the Agency’s groundbreaking
10-year turnaround plan and balanced the $3.1
Billion operating budget for three consecutive
years.
