presents Vanessa Frias- Martinez in this week's
Urban Research Seminar. This Seminar will take
place at NYU Center for Urban Science + Progress
(CUSP) in Downtown Brooklyn.

Vanessa Frias-Martinez is an assistant professor
in the iSchool and UMIACS, and an affiliate
assistant professor in the Department of Computer
Science at the University of Maryland, College
Park. She also leads the Urban Computing Lab.
Frias-Martinez's research areas are data-driven
behavioral modeling and spatio-temporal data
mining.
