Ph.D, in a line up of eminent international
scholars for this year’s multidisciplinary Urban
Research Seminar.&nbsp;&nbsp;This event series is
open to the greater NYU community in an effort to

interest in cities.

Nelson Flores is an associate professor of
educational linguistics at the University of
Pennsylvania. His research examines the
intersection of language, race, and the political
economy in shaping U.S. educational policies and
practices.
