DESCRIPTION:This year is an important one for defending and
deepening voting rights and democracy. The
dramatic increase in electoral turnout in the 2020
elections has created new opportunities for
establishing more robust defense for voting rights
at the federal level. At the same time, renewed
attacks on voting rights and access are advancing
at the state level, especially in Georgia, New
Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Arizona.
