the inaugural class of recipients of the Graduate
Student Award for Summer Research on Migration.
This virtual event will spotlight the innovative
and interdisciplinary research that the five award
recipients and five finalists completed this past
summer. Their research is wide-ranging and
cutting-edge, with projects that look at Jewish
refugees in wartime Shanghai, immigrant
housekeepers in New York, migration data
infrastructures in Germany, return migrants to
Central America, and many more.
