About the Bowery Residents' Committee (BRC)
Founded in 1971, the Bowery Residents' Committee
(BRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
helping homeless New Yorkers. BRC develops and
manages permanent affordable housing designed to
provide stable, supportive living environments.
BRC also provides services including homeless
outreach, workforce development, and supportive
community programs.
