more equitable, but more effective by addressing
issues of race? In the Social Identities &
Non-Negotiable Conversations Workshop, we will
reflect upon how diverse social
identities—by race, sexuality, gender,
(dis)ability, and other social axes— can
shape and expand our collaborations and work.
Along the way, we will draw upon existing theories
and discuss strategies to recognize, acknowledge,
engage, and bridge across differences in
constructive ways.
