2nd for a presentation on The Real Cost
Measure, United Way of California's statewide
poverty report, which presents a more accurate
picture of poverty compared to the official
poverty measure.

Presented by alumnus Henry Gascon, we will discuss
what it takes to make ends meet in LA County,
engage in a simulated poverty exercise, and
explore some of the challenges and opportunities
in strengthening the well being of struggling
households.

The presentation will take place
