Advisement and Orientation
Your orientation to Wagner is composed of a series of activities, resources, and events over several months. "Orientation Over Time" at Wagner will help you to meet staff and faculty, identify ways to maximize your time here, get to know your classmates, and become engaged within the Wagner community.
The First Advisement Webinars help you start your academic planning, introduce you to academic resources, and serve as your primary opportunity to ask questions of your program advisor before the term begins. While these mandatory webinars are offered monthly, we urge you to participate in a session right away so you can settle any registration questions you have for the fall and hear about things you can be doing to prepare for classes!
The other mandatory orientation activities are the Academic Orientation (August 15, 19, and 20) and the New Student Retreat (August 25). The International Student Orientation (August 22) is mandatory for all students studying on an F-1 or J-1 visa.
Optional Welcome Week activities will be held between August 26 and 29 to help you further get up to speed at Wagner. So look out for a calendar of events later in the summer!
Go to the Orientation page for more information and to RSVP for these events. For authentication purposes, you must be logged into your NYUHome account before accessing the RSVP links for these events.
