Step 3: Choose your First-Semester Course Plan

Your program is highly sequential and driven by the Capstone prerequisites for your specialization (see your Program Requirement Checksheet).

To stay on track for graduation, you must register for the courses listed in the First Semester Course Plan for your degree program and specialization.

PART-TIME STUDENTS: We advise you to take one quantitative core and one qualitative core from your specialization's First-Semester Course Plan in each of your first two semesters.

NOTE: Financial Management specializers who feel confident in their quantitative skills may take CORE-GP 1021 Financial Management in the first semester and take HPAM-GP 1830 Introduction to Health Policy & Management in the second semester. 

NOTE: Public Finance specializers who feel confident in their quantitative skills may take CORE-GP 1021 Financial Management in the first semester and take CORE-GP 1022 Introduction to Public Policy in the second semester.
