The Pink Tax on Transportation: Women’s Challenges in Mobility
The NYU Rudin Center for Transportation sought to determine whether transportation has a "Pink Tax," a term used to describe the extra amount women are charged (typically 7%) for products and services, like deoderant and dry cleaning. To learn more about women's experiences while traveling in New York City, the NYU Rudin Center deployed a survey online.
