Meera Joshi steps down as TLC Chair

New York City will miss the intelligent and innovative leadership of Meera Joshi, who is stepping down as Chair of the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission. She raised drivers' wages, improved passenger safety, and expanded accessibility in taxis and for-hire vehicles.  

Meera Joshi spoke frequently at the NYU Rudin Center for Transportation, most recently at the Emerging Leaders in Transportation program in December 2018. She discussed the value of passionate and mission-driven colleagues and the pride she took in her work.
