New NYU Rudin Center Report Featured in The Verge

A new article from The Verge, "Uber thinks it’s a ‘good thing’ for cities, but cities are having second thoughts,"  features NYU Rudin's most recent research publication, E-Hail Regulation in Global Cities. 

Meera Joshi, NYU Rudin Center visiting scholar, led research efforts for the report and highlighted the need for cities to regulate e-hail riding services both now and in the future.

“Cities are waking up,” said Meera Joshi, the lead author of the report and the outgoing commissioner of the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission. “They’re realizing they need to have a handle on this industry.”
