NYU Rudin Center Hosts 13th Annual "Excellence in Transportation" Event

The NYU Rudin Center hosted the 13th annual Excellence in Transportation event on April 26th, 2023. It was the first such in-person event since 2020, and hosted in a stunning open office space at 80 Pine Street.

It was an honor to have Michael Rudin, Senior Vice President of Rudin Management Company, speak about his family's commitment to the future of New York City.

Janno Lieber, CEO of the MTA, shared his optimistic insights about the MTA's work and opportunities ahead.

The evening culminated with a gorgeous 25-minute performance of "A Marvelous Order," a new opera about the iconic battle between Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs over the fate of New York City.

The NYU Rudin Center is grateful for our generous supporters, who make it possible for us to continue our mission of advancing transportation policy and management through research, public forums, and preparing students. It was a night filled with great conversations, laughter, and meaningful connections.
