How did being in New York impact your professional journey?

Virtually everything that happens in the classroom is tied explicitly to current events and topics within the NYC area.  It is absolutely true that Wagner uses the city as a laboratory for almost everything it teaches!

Describe your current job.

I work for Enterprise Community Partners, a national affordable housing organization.  I am the Director of our New York Vulnerable Populations Program.  I work on policy and system change efforts, and launch and operate direct impact programs, all aimed at connecting people with special needs to the affordable housing and services they need to be successful in their lives and move out of poverty.

What are the advantages of the Wagner alumni network?

The Wagner alumni network is unparalleled in NYC – I cannot overstate how often I connect with other alumni in my normal course of business, as well as with professors.  I often run into friends or acquaintances from Wagner in meetings.  And I even have the pleasure of working on projects with them!
