Fellowships for NYU Wagner-Skirball Program

There are fellowship opportunities specifically for students admitted to the Dual Degree program in Nonprofit Management (MPA) and Hebrew and Judaic Studies (MA).

The Jewish Foundation for the Education of Women (JFEW) supports a select group of full-time, female students in the MA-MPA program.  JFEW recipients must live in New York City or within a 50-mile radius and must demonstrate financial need.  Additional materials are required to be considered for this award.  You can find the requirements in the NYU Wagner application.

In addition, the NYU Wagner-Skirball Program offers the following fellowships to students admitted to their program: Handler Fellowship, Steinberg Fellowship, Englander Fellowship, Littauer Fellowship.  The selection criteria for each are a demonstrated commitment to a career serving the Jewish community after obtaining your two degrees.  Additional materials are required to be considered for these awards.  You can find the requirements in the NYU Wagner application.

Prior Public Service-Based Scholarships

NYU Wagner acknowledges the unique dedication to public service demonstrated by applicants who have already fulfilled a two-year service commitment through Peace Corps, Teach For America, or Americorps.  As such, NYU Wagner may award one 50% tuition scholarship each academic year to an admitted student who is an alumnus or alumna of the programs listed below.  Awards are based solely on the strength of the application and the contributions the Graduate Admissions Committee believe the applicant can make to the NYU Wagner community.
