NYU School of Law

Overview

While we cannot guarantee capacity in NYU Law School (NYU Law) courses for NYU Wagner students, you are welcome to request registration for an approved course at NYU Law.

Request Process

To request registration for a course at NYU Law, you must complete the following steps:

The Law School Office of Academic Services will arrange for your registration if they grant you final permission and there is room in the course.

If you are interested in registering for URPL-GP 2670 Land Use, Housing and Community Development in New York City Seminar, you must consult the Course Highlights for details about the course application. Space is very limited for this seminar, which is cross-listed with the Law School.

NoteS

The number of credits that will be applied to your Wagner degree will be the actual number of credits assigned to the course by the School of Law.

If you are taking School of Law courses in your final semester before graduation: The School of Law grading schedule is different from Wagner's schedule.  Therefore, if you decide to take a course at the School of Law in your last semester, you may not receive a grade in time for your scheduled graduation date, which may delay the awarding of your degree.

Classes at the School of Law may begin approximately 10 days earlier than classes begin at Wagner. You are responsible for checking the School of Law Academic Calendar to determine when classes begin.
