The heart of NYU Wagner's programs is our faculty. An amalgam of full-time, clinical/research/visiting, and adjunct professors, they are outstanding teachers, expert researchers and committed practitioners.
The following courses have been pre-approved by Wagner faculty and may be taken as electives by Wagner students. Before registering for any course on this list, students should discuss with their faculty advisor how a particular course fits into their program. Students may not take a non-Wagner course in their first semester. This is an initial list and new courses will be added as appropriate (Wagner students should forward relevant syllabi to their program's administrator to be posted to this webpage as appropriate).
If students are interested in courses that are not on this list, they must obtain the syllabi and obtain permission from their faculty advisor. The syllabus and faculty advisor approval should then be forwarded to the student's Wagner program administrator.
Please note that the syllabi on this page might not be the most updated. These syllabi are provided as a reference for students. For the most up-to-date syllabi, students should contact the concerned department.
Note: If a 3 credit course is taken at another NYU school, 1 credit will be waived automatically upon graduation.
