Advances in Leadership Theory

With over twelve years of researching and working on leadership development, scholars and researchers at NYU Wagner have developed new knowledge and improved practice through innovative scholarship on leadership theory.

Using deep expertise in participatory methodologies and peer-learning approaches, this work is documented in a range of resources relating to advances in topics such as diversity and race, social change leadership, collective leadership, networks, and research methodologies. These resources deepen the field's understanding of how to expand leadership capacity in organizations as they make social change.
