Getting the Most from NYU Wagner

Students come to NYU Wagner from across the U.S. and around the world, arriving with rich experiences in the public, nonprofit and private sectors and with backgrounds in nearly every academic discipline imaginable. In addition to their coursework, they all are looking for ways to connect with others, learn the ropes, find their groove and maximize their time while here.

The time at NYU Wagner can be transformative, both professionally and personally. Whether in their first or last semester, students have many resources to help them navigate their way to graduation.

Who to Go to For What

New students should visit Getting Started for important information about course registration, resources guides and advice on how to get ready for a first semester at Wagner.

As current students proceed through their program, they should consult with a Student and Program Services administrator and their faculty advisor, while also seeking advisement from the Office of Career Services.
