The Uncertain Transition in Burma - IPSA Reading Group with Professor John Gershman
Presented by the International Public Service Association (IPSA)

The International Public Service Association (IPSA) and Professor John Gershman invite you to join us for a discussion on The Uncertain Transition in Burma.

In the past year, Burma has undergone a rapid transition from a pariah state to a darling of the donors and a frontier for new foreign investment. But, challenges to Burma's transition reflect centuries-old political and ethnic struggles. This discussion group will focus on new players in Burma's developing democracy, ethnic conflict and the politics of managing natural resources, and the role of international actors in influencing Burma's new path.

Snacks and wine will be served.
