The U.S. Federal Government is focused on modernizing how agencies use information technology (IT) and how to best adopt emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and automation. Yet many critical IT systems are older and much of the $90B/year spent on IT goes to maintaining legacy technology. What is the path forward?

Come join U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Chief Information Officer (CIO) and co-Chair of the Federal CIO Council Joe Klimavicz, DOJ Chief Technology Officer Ron Bewtra, and DOJ Chief Information Security Officer Nick Ward, for a panel discussion and interactive conversation on how adoption of emerging technologies can enable the missions of federal agencies.

Agenda:

  • 9:45am - 10:00am - Registration opens
  • 10:00am - 10:45am - Facilitated discussion and Q&A
  • 10:45am - 11:00am - Informal questions from students and faculty
