Wagner Alumni groups around the country are coming together on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 to participate in Wagner Day of Service. Please join your fellow Bay Area alumni for a volunteer opportunity at Glide Memorial Church. We will be preparing bagged lunches that will be distributed to the homeless and hungry in the Tenderloin and will then go to brunch as a group nearby around 11:15. Join us for volunteering, AND/OR brunch!

Glide is located at 330 Ellis St. at the corner of Taylor in San Francisco. It is accessible by BART via the Powell St. station.

GLIDE is a radically inclusive, just and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization.

GLIDE has been serving the people of the Tenderloin and San Francisco since 1963. As a social justice movement, social service provider and spiritual community, GLIDE offers individual and collective transformation through compassionate, sustained, comprehensive care to all in need. GLIDE reaches those most in need, providing food, housing assistance, healthcare, and family services. We meet basic needs, stabilize lives, create pathways out of poverty, and work for systemic change. Our work is grounded in our values of radical inclusivity, unconditional love, truth telling, and celebration. We work on the front lines of poverty, look everyone in the eye, turn no one away, and transform lives.

NYU Wagner provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need. Please email tch237@nyu.edu or call 212.998.7400 for assistance.
