General PublicNYU Wagner's Black Student Association will be hosting an interactive and engaging panel featuring Black-identified NYU Wagner alumni working at mission-driven organizations. Panelists will share takeaways from their Wagner experiences and their perspectives on professional pathways. The goal of this panel is to highlight the interesting and impactful work of Black alums, address and discuss diversity gaps in public service and social impact work, and foster community among students, alums, and staff.
The event will include both a panel and Q&A portion. Attendees are strongly encouraged to come with their questions. Panelists include:
- Harold B. Pettigrew, Jr. - CEO of Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF)
- Alaina Long - Director of Operations & Communications at Oakland Fund for Public Innovation
- Ademide Adefarasin - Senior Program and Business Design Lead, IDEO.org
The panel may include other Wagner alumni.
