PrivateNYU Wagner's Black Student Association, in partnership with the Office of Career Services, will be hosting an interactive and engaging panel featuring Black-identified NYU Wagner alumni working at mission-driven organizations. Panelists will share takeaways from their Wagner experiences and their perspectives on professional pathways. The goal of this panel is to highlight the interesting and impactful work of Black alumni, address and discuss the COVID-19's effect on social impact work, and foster community among students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
The event will include both a panel and Q&A portion. Attendees are strongly encouraged to come with their questions.
Featured speakers include:
- Elizabeth Olsson - Program Officer in Criminal Justice Grantmaking, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies
- Malik Dent - Chief of Staff, Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence at NYC Office of the Mayor
- Traci Sanders - Director, Chicago Market, Enterprise Community Partners
- Sophanite Gedion - Senior Director of Programs, Govern for America
