Over the summer of 2020, a new generation of young activists helped orchestrate enormous Black Lives Matter protests, which swept across the five boroughs and ultimately pushed New York State to pass a monumental package of police reforms. These activists, some of whom are not even out of high school, have helped build the largest social movement in American history, and continue to fight for criminal justice reform through their advocacy work.

At this event, we will be joined by a panel of these young activists. They will share with us their reflections on criminal justice reform and discuss strategies for successful grassroots advocacy more generally.
