Mike will present "Toward the Efficient Impact Frontier," which was featured in the Winter 2017 issue of Stanford Social Innovation Review. The article provides tools that impact investors can use to make investment decisions that weigh all factors of portfolio performance -- financial, social, and environmental -- in a quantitative and holistic way. In particular, it borrows the concept of the 'efficient frontier' of risk and return from mainstream finance, and expands it to include impact, illustrating with data and examples from Root Capital's portfolio.
