We invite you to learn more about what NYU CannaPolicy has been up to this past year and how we’re creating meaningful change in our community. The cannabis industry is one of the most exciting spaces to be working in as it intersects with all aspects of public service— whether you’re interested in pursuing policy, advocacy, socially responsible corporate investment, health or urban planning, whether the issues that matter to you are equity, justice, healthcare, environment, government, the list goes on. The cannabis space is loaded with opportunities to get in on the ground floor of a nascent industry where policy has not been written yet, where the laws have not been passed, where we can actually help our city, state, and country tread a new path forward for our society that has been irrevocably transformed by 50 years of the war on drugs and 100 years of prohibition.
