WAGTalks: The COVID-19 Series

NYU Wagner and the NYU Urban Initiative present a series of virtual “WAGTalks” addressing a variety of socio-political and historical perspectives related to the current COVID crisis. These discussions will feature faculty and scholars from across NYU speaking on critical aspects of the pandemic, followed by Q&A.

Covid-19 is climate at warp speed. Climate scientists have been warning about runaway exponential growth and unprecedented economic impacts for decades. With Covid-19, they are playing out in a matter of days and weeks. Gernot Wagner will lead a discussion looking at lessons from climate applied to Covid-19, and vice versa.

NYU Wagner provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need. Please email wagner.events@nyu.edu or call 212.998.7400 for assistance.
