Join Wagner Philanthropy on Tuesday, March 16th at 6pm for “Doing Well by Doing Good: CSR and Philanthropy” as we explore the role of philanthropy and social impact in corporate social responsibility. The panel discussion will feature different perspectives to understand how the corporate philanthropy field has evolved in recent years, from making donations to strategic partnerships. A recent study showed that 64% of medium and large companies have some kind of philanthropic outreach program and that the vast majority of employees care about how their employer gives back.

The discussion will be moderated by Wagner professor Hedieh Fakhriyazdi (Director, Social Responsibility and Weil Foundation at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP) and panelists include Fernando Snowden-Lorence (Vice President, Corporate Responsibility, JP Morgan Chase), Julie Hodgson (Program Officer, Citi Foundation), Tasia Hawkins (Social Impact Manager, DoorDash), and Brendon Mason (Senior Manager, Development, Robin Hood).

This event is part of the ‘Social Impact Series’ hosted in partnership with Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA), Wagner Management and Leadership Organization (WMLO), Wagner Philanthropy (WP), and the Office of Career Services (OCS).
