EdTech @Wagner Workshop— Universal Design for Learning (UDL) The 3 Principles

Please join the Wagner Academic Programs team for our next EdTech @Wagner workshop of the semester next Friday, April 5th, from 12:45- 2 pm. Henrie Paz-Amor, Instructional Technologist, will lead a session on "Universal Design for Learning (UDL)  Principles" to enhance your courses in the Mulberry Conference room at the Puck Building.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. UDL was created by the Center for Applied Sciences CAST, founded in 1984 as the Center for Applied Special Technology, has earned international recognition for its development of innovative approaches to expanding educational opportunities for all individuals based on the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). UDL Principles are currently being used with the design courses built for Wagner's new online MHA program.

In this workshop, Henrie will provide an introduction of Universal Design for Learning Principles for higher education and talk about ways to incorporate these principles in your teaching.

This workshop is intended for faculty, teaching assistants, and course site administrators who are interested in learning to use Universal Design for Learning Principles to enhance courses.

The training will also be available in person or online via Zoom if you can't make it to Puck. If joining remotely, please RSVP to receive the link to the workshop session in a follow-up email message.
