Each month, the Future of the Field: International Development Series will invite leaders to discuss their professional experiences, current issues in the international development and humanitarian fields, and the challenges they believe will arise in those fields in the near future.
Wednesday, January 27 at 4:00pm, we will be discussing the future of Humanitarian Aid and are excited to bring in alumni:
- Shane Hanlon, Test Site Operations Lead managing a COVID-19 test site in Queens for NYC Health + Hospitals; has previously worked at Doctors Without Borders in a variety of countries as a field logistics manager
- Scarlett Wang, Programme Policy Officer at UN World Food Programme Congo
- Shawn Sippin, Humanitarian Assistance Advisor to the Military, USAID. Has previously worked for Action Against Hunger as a security manager and field coordinator.
This is a great opportunity to learn about their career trajectories and explore the future of Humanitarian Aid. We hope you will be able to join us.
