Mara Gay will explore the challenges facing New York City stemming from the pandemic, the political protests, and the loss of almost one million jobs.

 

FEATURING:

Mara Gay joined the New York Times in 2018, where she covers New York for the editorial board. Before coming to The Times, Mara was a City Hall reporter at The Wall Street Journal, covering Mayors Bill de Blasio and Michael Bloomberg, and dozens of other stories that have shaped the nation’s largest, most dynamic city.
