How to Create a Virtual Event Registration Page

To set up your virtual event complete the following steps:

  • Reach out to each speaker and see if they have a camera and mic available. All speakers must be able to join via Zoom.
  • Create a zoom meeting with the following options selection: require registration, enable join before host, enable waiting room.
  • If you have Send a message via EventBrite or email registrants that the event will be moving virtually with the zoom link.
  • Click save, and email wagner.events@nyu.edu to verify that your event registration page has updated correctly.
  • Edit the Wagner webpage with the zoom information which will sync with EventBrite every ten minutes (refresh your browser).
