ACE's next event, Indigenous Leaders in Environmental and Climate Justice, will be a virtual panel held on November 15th, at 7pm. This event will spotlight some of the important work of Indigenous people fighting climate change and seeking climate and environmental justice. Joining us will be Ruth Miller, Climate Justice Director at Native Movement and member of the Curyung Tribe, and Benjamin Yawkie, Climate Justice Organizer at the NDN Collective and member of Pueblo of Zuni, Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux, and White Bear First Nations.

The event will be a zoom webinar. The plan for the 1 hour event is to give both panelists some time to present their work and then hold a moderated discussion potentially with questions from the audience at the end. We are hoping to discuss climate justice, the experience and role of indigenous communities and organizations domestically or globally in climate policy, and more.
