The Wagner Food Policy Alliance, in collaboration with Steinhardt's Food Studies Graduate Society and Food & Racial Equity Collective, presents our first event of the season: Intersections of Race, Inequality, and Food.

Join us for a moderated panel event featuring discussions with professionals from across the food system and concluding with audience Q&A. By exploring the variety of ways in which our experts work at the intersection of food and inequality, we will identify the systemic challenges and most promising opportunities for justice and sustainability from farm to plate.

Guest speakers will include:

  • Abena Offeh-Gyimah: Entrepreneur and Owner of Adda Blooms
  • Lariza Garzón: Executive Director of Episcopal Farmworker Ministry
  • Shrima Pandey: Small Business Program Manager for Chhaya CDC
  • Craig Willingham: Deputy Director of the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute
