Got an offer (or expecting one soon)? Knowing how and when to negotiate can make a real difference in your compensation, benefits, and long-term career growth.

Join Wagner’s Office of Career Services and the NYU Wasserman Center for an interactive workshop designed specifically for Wagner students and alumni navigating internships, fellowships, and full-time roles across sectors.

You’ll learn how to:

Research salary ranges and benefits across public, nonprofit, and private sectors
Decide when negotiation makes sense - and when it doesn’t
Use clear, professional language to advocate for your value
Navigate common concerns like equity, transparency, and first-offer nerves
This session will include real-world examples and time to practice so you leave feeling prepared - not panicked - when negotiation conversations arise.
