In graduate school, a student’s relationship with faculty can be a determinant of success in that student’s academic program, as well as in their professional career. This is especially true for minority students in predominantly-white institutions, where there are often unspoken and unique pressures. Faculty can serve as advocates, counselors, and advisors, and while exchanging and building ideas with students, can offer research support and other forms of support. While we would have preferred to connect in person, Wagner BSA looks forward to creating a space for organic connections between Black students and faculty.

Join the NYU Wagner BSA program on March 29 at 5 pm to mix and mingle with Black professors! Use this time to learn from the experts in our fields, and gain tips and tricks on how to succeed!
