The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) provides leadership and encourages partnership in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations. UNEP’s work includes assessing global, regional, and national environmental conditions and trends; developing international and national environmental instruments; and strengthening institutions for the wise management of the environment.

Mahatma Leadership Series

Troubled by unrestricted industrialism and materialism, Mahatma Gandhi had foreseen a time when the resources of the earth will not be enough to meet the growing demands of the people. On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birthday year, we are inviting renowned public service leaders to share their experience and inspire others to make a positive impact on society.
