Professors Emily Austin and Thom Blaylock are conducting a Capstone Writing Workshop titled "Make it Shine: Creating Stand-Out Capstone Deliverables" on Tuesday, December 4, from 5-6:30pm, in the Rudin Forum at the Puck Building. Every capstone project culminates with a client report. But how do you create compelling written deliverables? This workshop will focus on several aspects of the writing process, from the early planning stages to the final edit. The aim is to incorporate your writing into the Capstone process, building your deliverables as you go, instead of building them at the end as an afterthought. Topics covered will include: writing collaboratively, structuring your final report, client-oriented writing and client takeaways, time management and project planning, as well as creating useful tools for your clients.
