Please join us for a convening on the work of the Bronx River Alliance and the Stop the Cross Bronx Expansion coalition, highlighting their recent win as the state rolled back plans for a “traffic diversion structure.” Panelists will go behind the scenes of the campaign and explore how community power, storytelling, and data-driven advocacy challenged racist urban planning. The conversation will highlight lessons for advancing public health, environmental, and transit equity.

Panelist:

Hon. Amanda Séptimo, NYS Assembly Member, District 84

Siddhartha Sánchez, Executive Director, Bronx River Alliance

Tiffany-Ann Taylor, Vice President for Transportation, Regional Plan Association
