Established in 1978, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is the largest municipal housing preservation and development agency in the nation. The agency's mission is to promote quality and affordability of the city's housing and the strength and diversity of its many neighborhoods. HPD strives to achieve this mission by preserving affordable housing and protecting tenants; developing new affordable housing; enforcing the City’s Housing Maintenance Code to ensure quality and safety; and engaging neighborhoods in planning.

Attend this Meet & Greet to learn more about HPD's work. Alex Rawding serves as a Director of New Construction Finance in HPD’s Office of Development, which finances affordable housing in partnership with private and non profit developers across NYC.

NYC HPD's Office of New Construction is currently recruiting for both a summer internship and two full-time roles.

This event is for NYU Wagner students and alumni only. Attendees must register with an NYU address.
