NYU Wagner's Policies for Action research hub -- funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and led by NYU Wagner's Dean, Dr. Sherry Glied --  collaborates with scholars across a range of policy sectors to evaluate the impact of non-health policies on health outcomes, using New York State Medicaid data as the core data set. We currently focus on the health impacts of policies in four areas: housing, education, criminal justice, and transportation.

The NYU Policies for Action research conference on May 24, 2018 is an invite-only conference that aims to bring together experts from different fields to engage in a discussion around our current research and findings, as well as generate ideas for future research. The conference will feature four panels of experts from around the country to discuss current and future research at the intersection of social policy and health.

This conference is sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Policies for Action program, and there is no registration fee to attend. A block of discounted hotel rooms for attendees is available at the Washington Square Hotel. Please book by April 11, 2018 to secure a room.
